or send an e-mail message to: jcswimclinic@cinci.rr.com
indicating each swimmers name, age and sex. You will receive a
confirmation e-mail of your registration.
This is a great opportunity for experienced high school and elite
junior high school swimmers to fine tune strokes and develop
high-level competitive techniques.
The Clinic includes elite instructors from The Ohio State
University, Xavier University, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati
Marlins, Sycamore High School, Anderson Barracudas, Mason Manta
Rays among others. This Swim Clinic was created in memory of Jose
Cerda, who passed away on October 26, 2010 during a swim practice.
Its purpose is to help swimmers improve to the next level of
performance and foster unity throughout the sport community.
New this year, three-time Olympian Simon Burnett, 2007 NCAA
Champion Whitney Myers and Josh Schneider, former UC swimmer
who finished 4th in the 50-meter free at the 2012 US Olympic
Trials, are among the accomplished athletes who will share their
swimming career experiences with student athletes. In addition to
being very inspirational, we expect this session to provide
invaluable first-hand advice about the mental, social and health
issues related to the sport.
